Just picked up a Conor twin rotor topper with no Pto Shaft
The shaft is a T50 with shear bolt and o/run clutch.

Does anyone know what length these PTO work at.
Local supplier has them in stock at 950mm compressed.

As with any machine, the shaft will have to suit the distance between your tractor and the machine. For a rough idea, attach the topper to your tractor and measure the distance between both pto stubs. Take a measurement with the topper resting on the ground, and again with the topper fully raised. If in doubt, buy a shaft longer than you need, and cut it to suit. Be very careful not to fit a shaft that is too long, as it could cause major damage when you lift the machine. If cutting a shaft, take equal amounts off both tubes, and leave it as long as possible to work without closing fully when it’s at it’s shortest.
