currys.co.uk have £5 pounds off with code FNDDGAME

Use parcel motel or equivalent. Works out at €38 on revolut plus €3.95 for parcel motel. Cheapest i've seen this anywhere is €49.99 so a decent discount

Just an update on this, this code is working on a good few games and as a result the games are working out a good cheaper even with PM. Would probably save even more if you ordered 2 or more

Found amazon started reducing/ matching their prices too. Got Mario All Stars for €50 when everywhere here was €70

Awful experience with currys.co.uk. Purchased the Zelda game for Nintendo switch, used Parcel motel. They send me a cheap Playstation game instead.
The hassle returning it. They won't go the extra mile for they're mistake. Ended up driving to Newry and mail it back from there. Got the Paypal involved to get my money back. Check the reviews on Ebay from that seller. Never used them again.

balls up on their part them sending you the incorrect game.

but if you are using a redirect service (parcel motel) to get it to a country that it's not supposed to go (Ireland as opposed to the UK) to from the service it came from then ou can't assume that it will all go swimmingly if there is a problem.

The shop in North also won't take it, or swap it with the right one.
Same company, only difference was that I bought online.
Not they're problem for sending me the wrong item.
    Couldn't bother fixing it.

but also in fairness Currys ebay say that returns aren't processed in store. they have always operated like that.

you can't assume that you can unfortunately.

Picked up what I ordered today from parcel motel. Looks like 1 good and 1 bad experience in this thread. Still a bargain alert though.

I ordered last week too, had it delivered with DPD today with no issues. Thanks for posting :)

    no I don't.

they sent you out the wrong thing but if you don't get that you

    1. bought from an online outlet and got it sent to a jurisdiction where they don't sell into

    2. expected them to accept a return in a retail outlet where they don't accept returns for the online outlet

If you buy online and use a redirect service to get it outside the intended sales territory you are going to have to post in back at your own expense to the original territory in case of an issue

Sounds like a nightmare. If that happens you again there is a way to get it into the Royal Mail postal system without driving to Newry in search of a post box.

Go onto Parcel Motel and select 'Returns' and it will give you a list of retailers, one of who is Royal Mail. Then print your two labels- one for Parcel Motel which will have a Royal Mail post office address on it and your other pre paid return label from ebay. Put one label each side of the package and then scan the barcode and put it into a Parcel Motel locker. it will then go to Newtownabbey where the Parcel Motel people put it into the Royal Mail postal system. The cost to do this for a small package is 3.50.

Had to do all the above last week with a return and its great to have a free pre paid label from ebay but you have to get it into the Royal Mail postage system first, Parcel Motel is a good way to do that for 3.50.

    I was aware of that.
They couldn't provide me with a proof that was sent back.
Drove to North because I was told over the phone, that the item was in stock in Newry and they'll replace it for me. The manager had a different opinion.
Glad I got my money back in the end.

You can't make an excuse for any company in 2020 having different policies online and in store. To the customer, online and in store aren't separate outlets.
It's the same brand, regardless of channel purchased in.

    The customer is completely right.

Curries need to get with the times.
