    Sons 04 Corolla rear w9ndo demister no working. Fuse ok and 12 volts vailable at elements. What can be wrong.

    You need to check both sides of screen to see if it has a supply at one side and earth on the other side.If you have both elements burn out on screen as leaving it on too long can burn out .

    Another thing overlooked is water leak into boot causing excessive moisture and screen takes forever to clear.

    Hatchback ? one of the terminals could have broken off,

    Could be a trace is broken on the screen. Can be repaired with conductive paint.
    Ususally a risk with hatchbacks if awkward loads are carried scratching the screen.
