Posting social media images?

    Say someone has posted a picture of themselves publically on Facebook, Instagram etc... Is it legal to save that photo and upload it somewhere else online?

    Yes, it's legal. But it won't be legal if we talking about fake accounts (same name, address, etc) of that person.

    Would depend on the terms and conditions of the site it was uploaded to. Didn't one guy legally have billions of images scraped from social media, that he sold off to law enforcement in the US?
