    What would be comfortable stocking rate for sheep..good land all index 3 and 4

    3 - 3.5 to acre is comfortable

    How’s fencing & paddock sizes?

    Current fencing is single strand electric fence.
    Home farm is dairy and out farms are used for replacements and beef cattle.
    Going to convert out farms for sheep.

    are you keeping less cattle? why go for sheep?

    Yes only going to keep the cows and buy replacements.
    And use the out farms for silage and sheep.
