There seems to be 2 series of Ariva, 153 and 253.

Is the latter a better version? What is the difference?

I have a 252 which has broken. The local tv store only has a 153 I think, should I buy it....

The 253 and 254 are the latest models - the difference of the 2xx models being support for H265 codec.
The difference between the models otherwise seems to be the processor power.
I recently bought the 254 for a relative for under €100 delivered - he's very happy with it.

Great I've just bought the 254.

FYI the guy in Expert Electric told me the 154 was the latest, I didn't believe him, hence this post.

The 154 is the latest in that series so the guy in the store is correct
