Firestick 4k issue

Hi folks,
Bought a firestick 4k and having issues playing prime video content from the home screen. I have a prime subscription and can play video within the app on the stick.

If I try and play an amazon title from the home menu it tries to play and I get

PLR_PRS_CALL_FAILED error. I googled and tried the clear prime video cache and data but still have message. It's not the end of the world but would be nice if it worked.

Anyone else have similar?

where you get it from, seems its something to do with regions locks?

Bought from Amazon uk..

Had similar and seemed to work ok when you go through the prime app first and then the show or movie. Rather than the home screen. Bit backwards but worked.

Yeah I've a feeling it's something to do with profiles..in prime app it asks me to pick profile to login as.. from home it does and just fails with message

The Home screen always tries to play UK content so you need to have UK account set up
for that or else use an Irish one and cast videos from your phone to stick or just use the Prime Video app on firestick (usually you have to side load from Aptoide store).

Thanks i actually got onto chat yesterday and asked them to update prime video location to uk. Gave them my addresspal address and its working fine now. Not a big deal but just nice to have the option to play something from the home screen

im having this plr pls call failed problem too, and now its saying i m not on the uk site, i had changed my address too to deal with the geo loc problem , and the clear cache isnt cutting it either !

You need to get onto support chat and ask them to update your prime video location to uk...

had the same problem and once I did the chat dance they eventually changed it and it works now
