How common is it for houses in Ireland to have air conditioned heating?

I visited my uncle in the U.S. back in 2017 and was surprised that his house had air conditioned heating/cooling. It was built in to the house and could tell you the temperature electronically and heat or cool the house to the desired temperature.

I find radiators in Ireland to be too uncomfortable. Sure they heat the house but it ends up being as hot as a furnace. Also they don't tell you how hot/cold the room/whole house is.

Would such houses like the one my uncle has be available in the U.S.? My parents house is a new house (constructed in 2018) but it still doesn't have that but the old radiators.
