Do the temporary restrictions expire on the 5th of October? Do they just roll over or expire?

Unless the minister extends them, they will expire and cease to have effect.

I haven't seen anywhere these temporary laws were renewed yet. I assume they are not law anymore?

They have unsurprisingly been extended to 9 November and I can say with a great deal of confidence they will be extended beyond that date.
