Scirocco running lights....service query

    So I just collected my Scirocco from a main dealer in Cork, having had a service, there was a bulb gone in my left running light that I asked to be replaced.

    Got her home....mistake is I should have checked before I left the dealer, bulb still gone, so I ring and they tell me it should only be on when the steering wheel is turned left.

    Now I KNOW both lights should be on when the lights are set to Auto bit just wanted someone to corroborate my opinion cos I think I might be going mad.

    What year is your Scirocco?

    Your DRL will go out on the side you are turning toward when your indicator is on.

    If you have cornering lights they will come on at the same time that the DRL goes out.

    She's a 15....the bulb is gone ages, the other one is grand... the light is out when she is at standstill aswell
