What Box?

Hi,

My Ferguson Ariva is not longer picking up the control.

What replacement box should I get?

UK Freeview and Irish Saorview.

Do all Boxes allow Freeview (from satellite) and Saorview (from aeriel) ?

I seeing some only have one input!!

Make sure it's not the remote, a smart phone camera will pick up the light pulses from the remote.

I've a eddison combi box I got for tvtrade.ie and it's fine very simple box but then I don't recorder...

You're correct and I did the test earlier, the remote is good, I had purchased a second, no good, box is at fault

For example the UK ones only say freeview and some appear to only have one input?

Just to clarify, Freeview is the UK aerial broadcast system, what you are looking for is Freesat or free to air satellite. Most Combo boxes will have FTA (satellite)and terrestrial (Saorview) with either T2 or HD.

Just bought a Saorview Connect box today, I think I'll have to return it on Monday, seems full of bugs
