Hello. I have a 2002 1.4 corolla, it's having a bit of trouble starting sometimes, and it's not time of day dependant or a cold start issue, it could happen morning afternoon or evening and sometimes doesn't happen at all.

The car runs perfect when started, no oil consumption issues, no engine light on( it does show a C1551 code occasionally).

One thing i noticed was the fuel pump doesn't pump up when i turn the key to ign but it does pump when I turn the engine over.

    Any ideas.
    Thanks

Got this traced back to the relay panel above the glovebox behind the dash. The panel connections are corroded and making intermitent connections. Problem now is I can't figure how to remove this fuse/relay panel.

Any Toyota mechanics here able to shine some light on this.
    Thanks.
