I am now sending a further email documenting my latest phone conversations with Irish Water personnel, and in relation to my ongoing issues with the Irish Water accounts under the name of my deceased brother Stephen Grehan RIP. The account numbers that I am referring to are <snip> and <snip>.

I spoke with an Irish Water representative on the 20/03/20 and asked to speak with Ken O'Mahony who was the manager dealing with this issue he once again refused to take my phone call and did not call me back and this is not the first time that this has happened. I was then transferred to the complaints department and spoke to Cory Wall who was very helpful in raising a complaint (ref <snip>). I also rang  the Commission for Regulation of Utilities who informed me that Irish Water had 10 days to reply to my complaint. I received a further phone call from Ivana Kovacic on the 26/03/2020 stating the she had no further information on the issue.

I am lodging this complaint as water connections and meters which are provided by Roscommon County Council should have been provided to each of these farmers individually. If this had happened it we would not find ourselves in this situation where a number of different supplies are coming off the one meter, with that one meter being billed to my late brother as verified by two different Irish water engineers upon inspection. The other farm connection had also multiple domestic supplies attached as was verified by the same two Irish Water engineers upon inspection.

My complaint is also lodged because during one of my many phone calls to Irish Water,  where I questioned again, the situation of the billing of the accounts as stated above, and the fact that other farmers were using the water supply as stated, I was told by an Irish Water representative that that was a 'personal issue' between me and the farmers involved which I dispute unreservedly. If the proper water meters and connections were installed when they should have been by the organisations involved in the rolling out of water billing, we would not be in the situation that we find ourselves in today. I would also like to state that I WILL NOT be asking any of the people who are using water off the one supply to contribute to paying Stephens water bill ( as was insinuated when I was told that it is a 'personal issue'), as this issue has ONLY arose due to the fact that the proper connections and meters were not installed by Roscommon County Council and Irish Water in the first instance.

I look forward to your speedy reply.

Kind Regards,
Noel Grehan
