Mail addressed to someone not living here, won't delete from mailing list

Bought my home off the plans so no previous owners. Four other people have lived here over the years. One had ties to a national organisation I find highly offensive and abhorrent and obviously they no longer live here. They got some post from this organisation (they put their return address on the envelope.) Some post started arriving from that organisation addressed to someone who has never lived here so I returned it marked "return to sender, has never been at this address". Over time I added "delete address from mailing list".

Haven't had anything in over a year but today a package arrived from the organisation again addressed to that person who's never lived here. I do not want their vile propaganda in my home and I want it to stop. Is there anything I can do to force them to delete this person and my address from their database?

Could you find contact details of the organisation and call and/or email them to remove adsress from mail list?

Writing on an envelope and sticking in the post box may not ever get to them. Call them, or better still write a letter or email them with the request.

I've tried calling, it goes to a machine. If I email it gives them my contact details and I absolutely don't want that. Guess I could create a throwaway account and use that.

Create an account in the name on the letters, and ask for an address change..

I would derive a certain pleasure from knowing that they were wasting their money sending material to the OP's address when the intended addressee does not or never did live there.
