Importing BMW 330d

hey guys,

I'm thinking about importing a bmw 3 series 3 litre diesel from the uk. Budget around 17-18k euro ideally 2014 and newer.

I had a look on donedeal for a 330d but the only ones I could find are either 20k plus for that year or over 100k miles. If I buy from the uk I could get one for 15k euro + 3k vrt with a decently low mileage (for a diesel).

Am I mad to buy a used 6 year old bmw?

No your not mad at all. Lovely cars and plenty of performance and economy too.
If your after an estate a poster here has a cracking one for sale.

Nox charge on that must be thousands?

Watch the Nox charges. I think older than Euro 6 circa 2016 onwards and diesel is potentially crucified under that system.
Even read of people here importing and not realising it exists only to be landed within a large bill on import

Thanks, i hadnt thought about the estate version but that car is lovely
