    Hi there,

I’ve been approached to do some home tuition with my neighbours child. I’m just wondering have people had experience of it before? Any advice. I’m on full hours so I’ll be taxed at the higher rate. Is it worth it?

    Hi

I assume this is primary? Is it more than one or two hours a week? I do extra tuition for 2nd level Maths and charge €40 per hour and then I do a tax return - mind you, it's marginal as you can write off a huge amount of expenses from your tax bill - printer, ink, paper, petrol just to name a few.
