    Hi all,
Reverse light is not illuminating on Renault grande scenic. Took out the bulb holder today. There was a good bit of water in the lamp. Bulb looked fine though.
Anyway replaced bulb. No dice. Dried out bulb holder, no dice. Checked new bulb and it's fine. Checked was there power coming to bulbholder when car in reverse, there is. Tried to clean contacts, think I've done a decent job. No dice.
    Anything else to check?
    Any advice appreciated

Check your earth. Stick the bulb back in, put the car into reverse & then earth the circuit off the body with a 12 volt tester (or a length of wire if you know what you’re doing). If the bulb lights you have a problem with the existing earth.
