    Hi all,

first of all thanks for your help in advance.

Last year I've rented out a room in my apartment and generated an income on AIRBNB.
I'd like to declare it but I'm bit lost on the process to follow and the section to use on revenue.ie
I have as well few examples correlated to the income to the declare.

Could you please help me on this matter?

    Thanks

You might be better off posting in accountancy forum.

I’m sure you know this already, airbnb pass details of income earned by Hosts through the site to Revenue automatically.

thanks Dave for your answer. If the income earned is passed automatically do we have to declare it or we are already charged?

You have to declare it. It's not simple rental income either it can be done under a different tax thingy - as you can probably tell I get an accountant to do it - I would suggest the same. The fee is tax deductible.
