Self Build & Taxation & VAT

    Hi,

    I am considering carry out the full self-build (& employ specialist trades where necessary) of our new family dwelling in the west of Ireland.

    As I am in the industry I am thinking of setting up a new business to start with this new build and hope to grow the business from there.

    With my self-build is there mechanisms in place for VAT / tax exemptions?

    I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.
