    Hi All,
Been a while since I was on here..mostly hobby shooter with ancient gear from back in the day..
Anyway, I have been considering upgrading my rifles for a while, and then I stumbled across markandsam after work on youtube, really got me interested again.
So decided to start off with a .22 "trainer" build, something like this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2vp5iY9OwU&list=PL9Nev6hdBFwVQh-qNGbqhYUq7ADPVdZ4_&index=20

I want to make something that will replicate a centrefire later on..

Top contender is the cz 457, (Interchangeable barrell option) but I want to make sure there is a good aftermarket chassis stock available for it like the one in the video.

What are our options in Ireland, is it difficult to get stocks like that in?
I'm hoping someone has done a similar build and can pass me on the pain,
    Thanks in advance,
    S'Doc.

Not certain if those stocks are available here for a CZ.

Ruger do a similar rifle, see link hereunder.

I think outdoor sports in mullingar had MDT chassis when I was there a while back, might be worth checking if they can get them for the CZ? They also had the ruger precision centrefires that could be an option but I've heard 'meh' reports on the ruger. never handled them personally so YMMV

KRG do the Bravo chassis for the CZ and the new Tikka T1X. There is a CZ 455 in a Manners stock. I have a CZ 452 in a Klinsky stock. I'd say either a CZ or Tikka in a Bravo would be a sweet setup. I'd strongly suggest getting yer mits on a MDT before purchasing. Looks cool but not for everyone. Nothing wrong with a 10/22 either and there is any amount of stocks on the market for it.
One thing you will need is a scope base with cant, MOA or Mils added in as scopes usually won't have enough internal adjustment to zero at long range with a .22LR. There are ones for the CZ that are compression fit, they slide onto the dovetail and grub screws tighten it down. I have read that these can loosen etc. A better option is the one by Area 419. Another thing worth noting is scope type, first or second focal plane depending on the shooting type being done. You might decide to get into PRS only to find your second focal plain scope isn't the best option for that type of shooting.

The Bravo is also available for CF as well so that would be a big plus as well for the future.

Can we order the Bravo direct from the states via addresspal I wonder..
