Hello if possible can anyone identify this tree species and approximate its age and size. Could it be a very young tree less than 2 meters high? Or is it even possible to estimate this from these photographs?
Ignore the big shiny things beside it.

You will get NO answers until you identify the flying saucers in the pic.

I don't want to discuss the objects , I'm just interested in professionals opinions on the trees. Why do I need to do that?

Either a Sitka or Norway Spruce.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Judging by the way the terrain behind and to the right of the tree disappears the grass in front must be on the crest of a hill, the tree could be further away than the crest of the hill, is there anything about the the tree itself that indicates it's small?

I can do better than identify the tree, the saucer is approximately 7m across. I presume that is what you are trying to figure out anyway. Also, given the saucer in the picture are you sure it is even earth?

    Wtf......that’s one strange sight.

Very rarely see a spruce type tree in the middle of a field.

I am familiar with the technology and this model of flying saucer in particular.

That's odd because it has only ever appeared in this particular set of photographs from 1980. How do you know what it is?
