Last Thurs I was out walking my dog near Strandhill beach in sligo and found a very fresh octopus washed up on the beach.
It was in perfect condition so couldn't have been dead more than a few hours.
I didn't think the lived this far north and going by Google the South West Coast or occasionally Dublin Bay is their northernmost limit.
Has anyone else come across one?
