Little bit of read, but if anyone has some -constructive- advice to offer, would be appreciated.

At the end of April, i was made redundant as a direct result of Covid-19.

From the middle of March until then was pretty stressful, and the phone call to tell me i was no longer needed was a gutpunch... I was there several years, and had quite a bit of responsibility.

I rang the income support number, and they told me i was *not* entitled to anything beyond Jobseekers. They were pretty short with me, and due to aforementioned shock, i shrugged my shoulders and applied for Jobseekers, which i did receive.

Subsequently, i was told i WAS entitled to claim PUP, at the full rate. However, during furthert phone calls to the income support line i continued to receive a combination of conflicting info and empty promises.

Finally, i got a hold of someone who took an interest, and since the middle of August, i've been receiving the PUP payment.

    My question is this:

Am i entitled to the difference between Jobseekers and the PUP payment for the weeks i was on Jobseekers?

I was told to email PUPrerpate at welfare dot ie, but have heard nothing and that was a month ago.

    Thanks for reading.
