Hanging curtains

Anyone here have a good solution for hanging curtains ..have the age old problem again of just putting up curtains and having them already pulling out of the wall..i have just got insulation put in so id say that doesnt help i'm thinking of getting long masonary screws and screwing through insulation plasterboard to block…
