    Hi.

Hope you guys can help. I want to close off my 3 Mini Flex Max plan with Three and move this number over to Gomo.
I have a Gomo account with a Gomo SIM/Number at the minute.

I've never switched networks before, so unsure what to do and the correct sequence to do it in, in order to make it as smooth as possible without too much down time and minimise charges.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Didn't think it was as simple as that.

Do they inform three that my account is closing or do I need to that?

Is that the same for 48?

Can't help with your question. Wasn't aware of the 48 option. It seems to use the three network and offers 4g. Seems better or as good as Gomo on first look. How do you find the experience.

I can't say for sure but 48 are doing the best deal with everything and 100gb data.... €7.99

With gomo, you sign up and open your account, you go to switch/keep number and input your number and what type of plan it is such as bill or prepay and then select a day and time to port.

Gomo for example send off the request to three or whoever and they then release the number.

If you're out of contract or just on the 30 day plan you will just owe payment for use previous on old plan. So say it's €20 a month they will most likely take this payment and that should be it then with old provider.

Straight forward so. Thanks for your help.

Must look a bit closer at the 48 deal to see what the fine print and service is like.

I have two Gomo Sims which I was alternating for data only, so was going to port one across for phone use. Might be an idea to keep this and go 48 on the the phone.

Not sure if 48 will stay at that. Gomo stated for life but nothing stopping them ceasing but be years down the line either way.... Bad idea too but stranger things have happened.

Why not have the one sim and use for everything.

Sorry. Should have said that I use the Gomo SIms in a router.
