Externally- CO Customs Trade and Facilitation role via Public Jobs. I think the current panel is due to expire this month.

Internally- You must get a job in revenue and then apply from within. I think you may have to do 2 years internally before you can apply (I maybe wrong there). Revenue hire annually (roughly) for COs, EOs and AO's. You can also get a job in Revenue via the general Public Jobs recruitment for COs, EOs etc.

    Salary- COs - 24,104 (461.96) – 25,681 (492.18) – 26,083 (499.85) – 26,864 (514.83) – 28,017 (536.93) – 29,167 (558.99) – 30,319 (581.05) – 31,157 (597.11) – 32,105 (615.29) – 33,209 (636.43) – 33,986 (651.32) – 35,078 (672.24) – 36,162 (693.04) – 37,855 (725.48) – LSI 1 39,186 (750.99) – LSI 2 39,796 (762.68)

16% or 25% extra for shifts. Plus 6K allowance.

I know someone who just applied through public jobs, no experience working in revenue before that.

I thought it would be much better salary then that, for the work that's involved, so max salary would be 39,796

    Yes, before any premium payments.

Remember, it will take you 18 years to get to the top point if you start at point 1 - which you will if you are a new entrant.

That's the basic CO salary scale. A lot of Customs Officers are on shift. So multiply the point of the scale by 1.16 or 1.25 (depending on 16 hour or 24 hour shifts). Then add 6K.

Where’s the 6k allowance coming from. Never seen any mention in the booklets.

That maybe for those operating on the patrol vessels. I'm not a 100% though.
