Local authority tree

    Hi all,

We’re looking into buying a house that has a west facing garden. We went for a drive today around the area and noticed that at 6.30 in the evening the garden wasn’t getting any sun because of some trees at the back of the house, on a small green space owned by the local authority.

I love trees and wouldn’t get rid of them, even if it was possible, but how likely is it that the local authority will accept to get rid of a few branches (quite a few branches, the trees are huge)?

    Thank you!

    Zero chance.
But this is the autumn evening sun. You'll only get these conditions for a few weeks in the year.
