Think it might be nice to list your favourite pub and why you're looking forward to it reopening! Or even one that does food good too, nice to chat and dream.

For me it's Dick Macs in Dingle! Love the atmosphere and the Guinness just tastes better there!

Henchys in Cork. A beautiful pub - one side auld fella bar, the other more modern decor with a TV - in the prettiest of places, St. Luke's. Unreal pint of Murphys, lovely staff and regulars.

Henchy's is a great pub. Though I wouldn't class myself as an auld fella just yet I veer towards that side, no televisions so it all about the chat and the banter and if watching sport is your scene, you just move over to what used to be the shop.
It's usually the first port of call for my school gang meet up, it's what an Irish pub is all about,
    conversation.

Oh I'm definitely not an auld fella :D but that's my favourite part of the bar too.

Love the newish wine bar next to it also, and the outdoor seating.

Another gorgeous spot - hidden gem - is The Belle Vue, up the hill from Henchys, by the barracks. Immaculate pints.

Thomas Connolly's in Sligo. Ideally laid out. It straddles two parallel streets so you can go in one door and out the other. It already has ready made cubicles and snugs. Added to that, great staff and Porter.

    Looking forward to going back.

The Hogan Stand, NCR, Dublin - consistently one of the best pints of Guinness in Dublin.
Cusacks on North Strand runs it very very close.

In town, Grogans, Long Hall and Brogans.
