Parents currently driving Opel Corsa but they need to get an automatic car. They want to trade 2 Corsa and get good decent Automatic car that's reliable and low maintenance

They don't do high mileage and would require good boot space for golf clubs and shopping.

I'm just looking around for options but as a non petrol head what are best options

    What’s the budget?

Hybrid would be an option, Prius, corolla, auris for example.
Honda jazz or fit but would be small enough.

Father went around few dealers in Air side and was quoted 13k he didn't say for what make or model.

That maybe their budget and trading in 2 cars also

If boot space is important you can get a Skoda Fabia in an estate version. 13k would get you one with fairly low mileage but others would have to tell you how reliable the DSG (automatic) gearbox is as I only have experience with the manual.

I test drove autos while looking for my mothers car, the jazz were terrible with CVT gearbox and weird seats, the Nissan micra was the best driver by a country mile. I wasn't too impressed by the polo DSG at all,
