I've noticed that if I'm sitting in traffic with the clutch fully engaged for longer than maybe 30 seconds, when I take my foot of the clutch the bite point is really low, almost just off the floor, much lower than normal driving. is this the sign of a worn out clutch?

Probably more a sign of a slave cylinder failing.
