    Hi, novice here.

So, my boiler is working fine, as in, heating comes on and off, house quite warm no issues.

The issue I am having is, my hot water is not working, there is a box/switch in the hotpress which is normally off, I thought that maybe the issue, so I turned it ON (orange light) can anyone tell me what the box is for and should the light remain on at all times?

Regards the pictures, they are from the hotpress, the pipes are now red hot after I turned the orange light on. Should this happen and will the orange light go off itself??!
