    Hi ,
I've been an SNA for 16 years ..about 10 of those part time .i know I won't be getting much of a pension but I'm wondering if I decided to job share for next 2 or 3 years would this have a serious impact on the few bob I'd be getting when I retire .any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't really know that much about pensions but I do know your current salary is what your pension is based on so ye job share will impact on the pension.

There's a pension calculator online that you can input your info and get an estimate. Maybe google that and try it out.

For teachers that go on job share, a job share year only count as half a year of service in terms of the pension - because it is only half a year of service. I would presume it would operate in the same manner for an SNA.
