What's the trend you're talking about? You don't explain it for anyone who hasn't been in the Bernard Shaw. Or is it just naming a pub after someone with a beard or somethig?

The new Bernard Shaw location is doing a lot for the area. I've been living around there for about five years and it's great to see it so vibrant now. The Porter House that it took over from was rubbish.

Try out the MacDaddy fries in the Eat Yard, they're ridiculously delicious.

Again, for people who haven't been, what the flip are you two talking about?

I am curious what did he do? Any poor pub must be at it's wits end! A little plug is hardly a crime??

The post asked what people thought of the new trend in bars regarding eating, but then didn't say what the trend was, and just mentioned that they were in the Bernard Shaw. Looked more like a brain fart than an ad to me. But it's hard to discuss what you think of a new trend when no-one knows what trend they're supposed to be discussing.

Instead of just clarifying, OP then edited the post and deleted their account.

The area has been booming for the last 5-10 years, the Bernard Shaw jumped on the bandwagon, admittedly bodytonic had a large hand in it with the back page.
