Untidy cables/Old analogue boxes in house

We bought a house that has several old TV aerial boxes in the bedrooms- like this one:
    PTDGybshttps://ibb.co/PTDGybs

The cables that feed them come from the UPC/VM connection point at the front of the house. The cables run over the roof and down the walls at the back. They look very untidy and we'd love to disconnect/remove the cabling. Is there any point in keeping them?

The cable for our VM broadband/TV service is connected through a different cable at the front of the house.

Not if you don't use them. You could get them moved internally.

Those cables can be used for networking using MoCA and the likes. Might be worth keeping them if you need wired Lan access in other rooms in the house or if your WiFi coverage isn't great.

Sometimes they link one house to another. So if you cut them you're cutting your neighbour feed.

    - Internal cabling does not go into a neighbour.

I know I'm just making the point about the outside cabling.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going to disconnect it. The wifi speeds are more than sufficient for our needs.
Last qn: can I disconnect it myself or should I request a VM technician?

I'm guessing your area was upgraded, and these cables are disconnected at the front soffit?
Once they are disconnected you can remove them.

Are you removing the cables on the outside (roof and external walls) only?
Internally they could be handy for pulling in cat* at a later date etc. You could remove the coaxial outlets and put plank faceplates on instead in the meantime.
