Any idea what's causing this blight?
The garden never had any plants previous and i put compost and sand in the soil and later added feed granules.

There may be some soil contaminated with cement below and a tomcat started using it as a toliet but i put a stop tto that

I planted 30 plants. This one's the worst affected but i see another 8 have some signs.

    Is there a quick fix?

Hmm.. I expect its the granules. I put them over the plants and soil but much of them got lodged between the stems and still haven't dissolved and i guess they're poisoning the plants.. Does that sound plausible?
