    I recall the last recession where Moody's Davey etc all knocked Ireland down a few pegs

    Why not in this case. I mean realistically were borrowing ? Money thats not getting paid back if this continues

    And yes I'm sorry to stick a gloomy thread in AH but I figure someone here knows their arse from their elbow on this. Law of averages

    I’m guessing someone is paying them to keep the ratings up, just like last time.

    How anyone can still take these “ratings” agencies seriously is beyond me.
