Saorsat Transponder Question

Playing about with my Saorsat setup aas I wasn't happy about some elements of it.

    I'm running Openvix on a Mutant HD51.

I am able to pick up a signal for Saorsat on all 4 polarisation settings - is this correct?
Furthermore, using the 'scan' option in this menu with each polarisation setup returns the full suite of channels for the single Saorsat Transponder.

Does this scan option work from the configuration defined in this menu or does it pick up the transponder from the predefined list?

In a previous thread, didn't you say this was with a multiswitch, with both LNB outputs connected? That's the only reason it works with the different settings.

I've connected it directly, bypassing the switch to see what is at fault. There is warranty on the switch for 5 years so if it is faulty I'd rather get it resolved now.
