Can I get JSB or JSA??

    Hi,
    I have such situation. I worked 1year part time. Now I was need to go from this work, as it fisically very hard ( after surgery can not work there) and now im trying to find work by speciality, as have high education.

    Can i get JSB OR JSA? While im looking for new job?

    I know that jsa, means tested. Husband works full time.
    I think i will get nothing....

    If you have only worked 1 year in Ireland you will not get JB. You do not qualify the contribution rules. You may might combine your Irish contributions with the contributions made in your own home country- if you worked there in the last 3 years.
    JA is a means tested payment. You might get that payment- or parts of it- if your husband does not earn too much. You find the rules for the means test here:
