Hi folks. A neighbour of mine is building a wall and presumably extension that pushes into a lane meaning you can no longer drove a car through and there's only enough room to walk.

I presume this is all within their legal boundary lines but how could I find out for certain?

The following is the list of what is exempted development http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/2001/si/600/made/en/print#sched2

Is the neighbours Proposed extension footprint, within Neighbours ownership?
Is the proposed extension to the rear of dwelling? Less than 40m2? Is there sufficient remaining external area?

Take a look at the landdirect.ie website to see what detail is on the PRA mapping for the site.
