My friend is receiving disability allowance.

I heard that you can collect your payment for up to 90 days now because of covid.

    Is this correct still?

If so, why does it state on the citizens info website contradicting information?

"All payments will be available for collection for up to 20 days at the post office. All payments are available for 90 days at the post office"

    Which is it?

It was 90 days for all social welfare until recently when Job seekers and a select few others were reverted back to weekl, and to the 20 day mark.

So as I understand it Disability allowance is still paid every fortnight, which would suggest that the 90 days is still in place.

Don't hold me to account but I would ask the person in the post office/call the department or they could just ask for it to be paid into their bank account, saving them a trip.
