    Hi,
I have a French sandstone fireplace with an inset stove that I am going to sell.
I need some advice on how to remove it safely.
It's fixed to the wall with some sort of foam filler (feels spongy).
The stone has 3 sections and is joined with what looks like a type of mortar but is gappy.

My worry is that it will be be damaged when removing it. Any tips for prising it off?

    I Can't attach a picture unfortunately.
