Hi, I could really use some help getting a car.
my budget is about €7.5k and i'd like something smallish, maybe a focus
Out of work at the moment but hopefully soon have less than an hour commute rural/motorway.
    based in north donegal.

wa thinking something like this https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/627113278189773/

    Is it worth €8k?
    any recommendations?

What should I be asking about with this age or older car, timing belts etc? I really haven't a clue.

    thanks

    Get yourself a mechanic
If you really havent a clue then don't buy from facebook. Buy from a main dealer, yes you will pay more or a year less car but you will end up with a car that hopefully wont have any issue

My experience of Donegal cars are they are clocked to the max and fell across the border at some stage.....of course could be wrong
