Hey I recently had fitting sliding wardrobes installed in a bedroom, didn't occur to me at the time but I just realised they were installed on top of the existing old carpet. Does anyone know if this would be a problem? I assume the fitters can just cut the old carpet with a stanley knife and install the new carpet. Ideally I guess I should have told the wardrobe guys to cut out the old carpet as they were going to be removed anyway but I didn't think of it and they didn't ask
