Plastic cap on heating valve broke

I'm not the most handy so hopefully this will be an easy fix. Long story short, the plastic cap that I used to turn my heating valve broke off. It was just a small black piece of plastic. The valve was to control the pressure gauge. Now that it's broken I can't move the valve at all.
    Any help welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

    small spanner or vice grip

The valve looks like the top up valve for your heating system, which should be for occasional use only
