Irishjobs & Profile Views

    Hi all

I currently find myself on the hunt for a new job as a consequence of the impact of Covid on the industry. I'm active on LinkedIn and its opening some doors.

I also have an IrishJobs.ie profile. Historically I remember that you could see if your profile was getting good views. However this time round its saying my profile has had no views. My profile is 100% complete and its visible to trusted employers. Do recruiters still use IJ or is it all on LinkedIn these days?

Would appreciate if people could share their experiences. I just want to make sure that I'm reaching as many people as I can.

    Thanks

This isn't the answer you want, but probably useful:

It is an employer's market, not a jobseeker's market, so you need to be actively applying for jobs instead of waiting for recruiters to contact you.

Thanks for the reply. Acutely aware of that. In my most recent position I was a Finance Director so very much in tune with the market. I'm applying for anything and everything that's suitable.
