    Hi IW

Who should I write/email about a rural community seeking connections?

There are about 20 houses in my area all using wells and expensive filtration systems and still usually needing bottled water to get by.

There was discussion years ago (before my time) about getting mains but there were a lot less houses and the momentum petered out.

I spoke to the council and they advised me to contact Irish Water first of all.

This is what my well gives me, all the filtration and treatment in the world won't fix that.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

We recommend emailing our new connections department at newconnections@water.ie and a member of this team will be happy to assist with your query.

    Thanks,
