Ive been looking for a half decent used van the past few weeks. Budget max 6k. Im shocked at the money their making. 07 Transporter 6k etc its insane. Even across the border and in the UK dispatch lwb vivaros etc are making ridicilous money. Im wondering were used vans always so expensive or has the market changed so much in the last few years. Any vans im looking at are max 2.0 litre as ill be taxing privately. I wonder does that have anything to do with it. What do ye think?

Theyre a small van. Need something with 3 seats that can take a decent load eg 3 seater couch stuff like that. I know a lad that works for a motor factor and used one of them for six months. He hated it. Reckoned it was uncomfortable and very giddy on the road compared to the caddys hed had previous. Thanks for input though

I doubt you will get a 2 litre of the size you need, Most if not all would be 2.2 litre upwards.

    2008 2.0 Renault traffic €2500 https://www.donedeal.ie/commercials-for-sale/2-0-renault-traffic/25840722
    2010 Renault Trafic €4950 2.0 L. W. B. 6 Months Doe &Taxed https://www.donedeal.ie/commercials-for-sale/10-renault-trafic-2-0-l-w-b-6-months-doe-amptaxed/25614286

There are options out there, not sure how good the vans are but have had Renault cars and the newer ones are reliable.

Apparently injectors are a big issue in those renault nissan opel vivaro type vans. Design flaw allowing water to lodge in the head and seep in around the injectors. Resulting in it being nearly impossible to replace them. Thats why I was thinking of a dispatch lwb with the 2.0hdi engine..

Do you need a van full time?

You could just get a Go van for the hour or 2 you do at 12 euro per hour.

They've got a transit/NV300 on the Dock road and one on the Ennis road.

You probably just searched for the smaller Berlingo van which I don't think are available in Limerick.
