Anyone know when the new Sorento is due to come out in Ireland?

The reviews coming out of Asia look pretty impressive.

Judging by reviews, you are probably in the minority alright. It's an SUV so not going to win beauty contests but def an improvement on the current model and as nice as its main competition (5008, Kodiaq, tiguan all space, Tarraco).

Ah super, look forward to seeing it!

Interestingly looks like a new Santa Fe is on it's way too and getting good reviews as well. Perfect timing for me as will be moving on from current family car early next year (new shape Pug 5008)

Looks decentish IMO ....... not great but decent ish. A touch of Volvo weirdness at the tail light clusters.

I reckon I'll go EV next time to replace my 2018 Sorento though.

A touch VW in the front grille and lights. Rear clusters look like they were borrowed from Ssangyong. Nice rims. It's a decent looking SUV IMO outside of the tail lights

Thought same, disappointing it's coming in that high. Roughly 10k less you can get a high'sh spec 5008 or Xtrail. Bit more gets you to Kodiaqs and Tarracos or Tiguan All space. The Sorento has topped all of these- it is a bigger car in fairness but the price does not seem competitive.

There is also a facelift of the 2018 Santa Fe model coming out late this year as well which is getting good reviews - more competition.

I'm buying around April next year. The price has put me off the Sorento right now. Might even look to a used XC90 hybrid from UK if Brexit doesn't double up on VAT etc.

In a thing that size AWD is a must IMO, for a €53k Sorento to be front wheel drive is mad.
