This is the one I was looking at. Can probably get it down to €26k with 08 Corolla trade in. Couldn't post the link today while at work.

Does it have to be auto?

You could ask for a straight sale price
it would be easy enough sell the Corolla

My wife got a 172 xdrive auto about 2 years ago and loves it.

It’s comfortable, plenty of space for the kids and we have had no trouble with it.

Albeit manual I sold a 171 Xline with a Pan roof and upgraded wheels, 50kms, in March for 24k.

At 28,995 it’s a rob and only getting 900 quid for the 08 Corolla is a kick in the teeth. Edit sorry I misread it, 26k

Yeah. Leaning towards automatic. Ruptured both Achilles tendons through sport. Not getting any younger and a stiff clutch can be a bitch for me in the winter.

The only thing you can read in that link is “Now sold”

It's not the only thing honey! Stop exaggerating!

I linked advert to just show spec of a Kodiaq. I'm sure garage could source another.

You’d fit that little BMW in the boot of the Kodiaq

A Kodiaq is about twice the size of the X1. That one has twice the mileage too.

uses the same platform as the MINI Countryman satisfaction with BMW as a whole isn't great. The company finished a disappointing 27th out of 30

I have a Kodiaq, it's only a cm or two shy in each direction from the new X3. Parked side by side , no real difference in size. The X1 is a much smaller SUV and greatly overpriced for what it is.

However, I get the BMW desire thing, I had an X5. Got rid this year primarily because of reliability issues but also because a new Kodiaq had more spec etc for a lot less with no real loss in power and handling.

You'd be mad NOT to get the auto, price not withstanding.
