131 Passat 1.4 dash lights

hi all,

the pic attached shows the lights that have come on on my daughter 131 Passat. the car is still driving and i wont get to run VAG com on it until tomorrow so i was just wondering if

1. any one has come across this and if so whats the possible cause/fix ?

2. is it safe for her to continue to drive

I also have a 131 Passat and had a same issue. Mine was a rear ABS sensor.

Yeah, could be a few things but rear ABS sensors are very popular to give trouble in them and would give that collection of lights.

thanks a million lads and i suppose my next questions are there 1 or 2 sensors and are they/it easy to replace by a diy mechanic ??

Is that 896.6km from a full tank? Not bad for a petrol auto...

Easy to do DIY but you need to know which side. Lots of youtube guides.

If you're feeling flush or cant diagnose it, you could replace both sides as they are a cheap part and a popular fail so would be no harm to do both if you wanted.

Check for play in the bearing too by rocking the wheel with the handbrake off..

You may feel the ABS kicking in for no reason when breaking. Apart from that, no issues with driving..

quick update , changed rear abs sensor and all is good. thanks all for the assistance.
